Imbiss Riviera - Zürich

Imbiss Riviera is located at Bellevueplatz with great views of the Limmat and Lake Zurich. This simple kiosk offers a full list of meats on the grill from sausages, currywurst, burgers, fries and additionally Eis, salads, and a range of beverages. I had the calf sausage with brotli and mustard (7.50CHF), which was a very good deal for a light snack. They have stand tables or you can actually take a normal table and have very nice views over the Limmat. The only thing to note was that I thought the staff was way too busy chatting with their friends and not giving the most attention to the customers on my visit. Otherwise, the place is a good option for a cheap meal/snack.

IMBISS RIVIERA it’s almost always completely packed out with locals and tourists alike. The food is light and tasty and there are fruit cocktails and exotic teas available as well as beers. People don’t tend to hang around here much, though, making it suitable more for a quick bite before a night out on the tiles or a snappy lunch break during shopping.

When the weather is sunny in Zurich, you should go to the river side of Limmatquai, where you can find a small inbiss at the end of Limmatbrücke on the right side. You can get easy snacks and nice grilled sausage. Moreover, this imbis offers Schneider Weisse on tap! An small oasis under the trees for short lunch break.
