Beautiful people, beautiful and intimate dining room, beautiful wine. Docked her a star, because the lunch menu is limited, and when I last visited, there was nothing warm. But don't let that go. I would say not disturb for lunch, and see this as a Fiur and half a star in the evening. So recommended...
Lots of parking, cute outside, then arrival in.... beautiful! but has a lot of potential. Of the other 5 tables (which were obviously local)... but no problem. Starters were 11/out of 10, really good, I had potato curry soup with shrimps that was really good 16.50chf, but it was worth... my Nabeby had TATAR! FANTASTIAN!!!! and we received a beautiful bread with THE MOST AMAZING stein Pilze butter.... that was beautiful, so we thought that this will be sooooooooo good... but NO! Main course came... I had what I always had to test a new restaurant Schnitzel / Pommes, and that was, I'm so sorry to say, but THE WORST in 20 years that I had in Switzerland the most dry schnitzel, scattered on 1mm thick, with I think it was bread crumbs, but it tasted like cardboard! and WIE, How can you make BAD frits inside, but these were so brown! My Nabeby's liver/rosti has okay, nothing major, but edible.... I expressed my disappointment at the waitress and, as usual in Switzerland, my criticism was considered PERSONAL INSULT and we were then rewarded with NULL service. The main course was ****, and I'm sorry! But it was a Saturday night and there were only 4 tables, so it's easy to get the food right. We then decided to order dessert and ordered a chocolate cake with ice cream.... that arrived in a glass! Means what should be a warm, fluffy cake, was warm spicy and chewing! NOT GUTZ at all, but we were not even asked how it was!! I know WE DON 'T take criticism good!!!!!! But the icing on the cake was when the bill came and although I ate NOTE!!!! we were rewarded with 2 free coffees!!! Yes! Swiss non-customer service best!!! You will never learn more, even after 20 years in this beautiful country! I had to pay almost 30chf for something I never ate! But hey! You can get 8chf off!!! Anyway, lesson learned, but sad. We live 5mins away, we would definitely have come back, but NOW!!! Never! Such a shame. Service was nice until I complained, but the beginners were almost MICHELIN Star Rating, the rest... good.... disappointment. Such a shame.... really a shame....
Entäuschung von A-Z. Hausspezialität Tartar ist mit dem Wolf erstellt und nicht von Hand geschnitten. Sehr lieblos und aromalos serviert. Wiener Schnitzel zu Karton verbrannt (armes Kalb, wenns denn Kalb war). Cordon-Bleu geschmacklos und in einer Fettlacke serviert. Pommes waren versalzen. Bedienung (Chefin) sass am Nebentisch und las den Blick und löste Kreuzworträtsel. Sehr angenehm wenn man privat diskutieren will.
Dieses Tatar ist einzigartig - im Geschmack und überhaupt.Genau so führt man erfolgreich ein Restaurant. Klein, dafür Aufmerksamkeit für jeden Kunden. Eine Spezialität, welche das Restaurant ausmacht,Absolut empfehlenswert!
Wir sind ab und zu im Schmiedhof und genießen die gemütliche Stube. Wir haben jedesmal sehr gut gegessen. Feines Tartar, feines Rindsfilet. Der Wasabi-Kartoffelstock ist sehr gut! Die Bedienung ist sehr zuvorkommend. We enjoy it every time again.
