I had kebabs at other places in zürich, but nothing comes close to what this place offers. I have eaten kebabs, where the meat after the taste had actually bitter and filled, like pet food, I suppose, full of innards and innerias. with this place it is always great. Adds the fantastic staff, and it is a winner. I ordered my normal donator kebab in fladenbrot (flat bread) with sweet, lots of chili and garlic sauce. this time the other half went for a falafel. instead of deep, small falafelses, which are stuffed into a pita/floor bread, they cook the squeezed falafel mixture on a grid in the form of a patty/call. then they'll push it into the Pita bread. I loved it! first line it was not deep fried and second, in each bite they had some of the falafel due to the shape of the patty. with the normally shaped falafel they often have bites of the pack where there are no falafels in it. I love this place. thanks, young, keep it up!
As you see from my previous reviews, I've been coming here for a few years now. The guys behind the counter are the friendliest kebab guys I have ever known. Add to the fact that their kebab is as delicious and consistent in quality and...taste as ever, it makes for a perfect quick meal or an amazing after booze feast. It's my local kebabhouse and I'm delighted to have the option close to me. Keep it up fellas!
It's been my local kebab joint for a couple of years now and it still continues to please me. The food is consistent and the guys are great fun. Keep it up!
This is a magical little place. It's not a restaurant, rather a takeaway with really good doner kebabs and Turkish bites. After a few pints at the local pub, we always make our way to Tasty for a superb Turkish kebab. The guys there are...really cool, welcoming and great fun. They always crack jokes and have a laugh. They even greet me and wave at me even if I'm at the opposite end of the street just passing buy on my way to the local supermarket. The most important thing to note is that the meat used in the kebab is certified and comes from the well known local butchery. They delcare exactly what is in the meat. With other kebab places you don't know what you are getting. But at this place, you are assured to be fed real meat. The kebab can be served in a pita bread or in a larger fladdenbrot' Turkish flatbread. It's served with tomatoes, onions, lettuce and a variety of sauces (garlic, chilli, cocktail). The flatbread kebab is then folded up and toasted in a panini grill making it crispy on the outside and hot and juicy on the inside. Obviously, my preference is the flatbread. Furthermore, they also serve home made burgers, excellent seasoned fries, kofte, baklava, beers and soft drinks amongst other Turkish foods that I have no idea about. Another new thing they serve is a Doner box which is a takeaway box filled with seasoned fries, salad veggies and kebab meat, instead of serving it in a bread or pita. I'm had it but prefer the normal traditional flatbread. There are a couple of seats available outside or a couple of bar stools inside if you wish to eat there. I know it's only a kebab joint but it's the best one I've been to in Zürich and for this reason I had to review it.
