We have been making this recipe every July 4th for the last 12 yearsWe only made 2 changes in the original recipe.
I have been trying different ice cream recipes, and this is the best one! I made it exactly as written and it was perfect.
Very disappointed, not sure what went wrong, felt it was very grainy. Will not make again. Have made various custard ice creams and this was by far the least successful
