The set includes curry, naan or rice, salad, soup, drink, papad (thin crispy bread), two types of flavoring paste, and pickled daikon with turmeric. You can also choose mango lassi as your drink. Naan is refillable, and rice is served in large portions by default. It's quite a good deal, in my opinion. The photo shows the daily set meal which consists of vegetable and chicken curry for 800 yen. The staff is very friendly. The curry is slightly spicy yet sweet, with plenty of ingredients. The naan is crispy. They also provide herb and chili paste as a service. The herb paste is tangy and mild, while the chili paste delivers a delayed spiciness without numbness, giving a refreshing heat. Adjust the curry's spiciness with these pastes. The egg soup has a rich flavor and tastes delicious. You can also opt for a cheese naan by adding 200 yen. In the evening, they offer a course meal with all-you-can-drink for 3000 yen. Despite being able to dine leisurely when they first opened, it has become a popular spot. The lunchtime is always fully booked.
I have tentatively rated this restaurant four stars (three stars are impossible). When Indian cuisine is prepared to suit Japanese tastes, it often ends up tasting the same everywhere, but this place was the first to provide originality at this price range. For those who think they are tired of curry, I highly recommend giving this place a try. There is no nearest station, so it's best to come by car or be a local resident. The parking lot is right in front, which is convenient. I visited for lunch and was surprised to find that there is a second floor in the restaurant. The first floor is a bit cramped, but with a total of five tables between the two floors, it doesn't feel too crowded. The lunch set comes with complimentary items and costs less than 1000 yen, making it a place you could visit every day. As for spiciness, even at the highest level of five out of five, I could handle it. If you're accustomed to spicy food, a level four would be comfortable. Additionally, the naan bread offered here is the biggest I have ever seen. There is WiFi available inside the restaurant, and you can also pay with PayPay. I look forward to coming back for dinner next time.
I tried cheese naan for the first time here and was amazed at how delicious it was. It was DURGA's cheese naan, and it was incredibly tasty. It truly is a fantastic dish, so be sure to try it when you visit. The portion size is large, so I always end up leaving about half of the naan, but they always give me aluminum foil to take it home (lol). The staff are very kind and thoughtful. I admire their consideration, and as a Japanese person, I would like to learn from them.
