Overa - A Coruña

Overa is always consistent and incredible!! I have revisited multiple times and every time I visit and I must say Carlos, Javi, and Raul are an unstoppable team and always push the boundaries of innovation and tradition. I firmly believe you will not be able to find fresher or more delicious sashimi anywhere else in Europe! Overa has officially become my favorite restaurant in the world. Eternally grateful for the incredible and high quality Omakase meals they offer! We often visit Coruña just to get the chance to eat at Overa! It’s the best!

My friend and I went there for dinner and it was absolutely amazing! The people, the service and THE FOOD! The fusion of sushi with native Galician ingredients is our of this world, and an absolute must when you're in Coruña! The chef, Carlos, makes sure to get the best and freshest seafood out there! Everyone in the restaurant was so welcoming and made the best wine pairings for the food. Galicia is seafood heaven, and this restaurant honors that. Can't wait to go again!

I have lived in Galicia for years and could never understand why I couldn’t find incredible sashimi here when Galicia is so famous for the freshest fish and seafood in the world! I have always dreamt about combining the best of Galician seafood with Japanese flavors and preparation. FINALLY my dreams came true when I discovered Overa in Coruña. I can’t begin to describe how spectacular the meals always are here! Without a doubt they have the freshest sushi and sashimi I have ever had in my life...everything is melt-in-your-mouth delicious and you can taste the love infused into each bite. I highly recommend to put your trust in Carlos and the chefs and just eat everything they choose to bring you to your hearts content. Everything is exquisite! The best non traditional restaurant in Coruna by far and it has become essential to eat there multiple times every trip we take to Galicia. See you soon Óvera!
