Short ribs were fantastic. Staff was attentive and beyond friendly.
I started my review with three stars however bar staff were really nice and attentive. We loved the food and my only suggestion would be for the hostess to be a bit more accommodating.
Celebrated a milestone birthday with excellent food and service. The staff, Hanna (bartender) and Amanda (server) were amazing. We had the cheese plate (5) and Pumpkin Ravioli for appetizers. The short ribs were incredibly tender and could be cut with a fork. The scallop risotto was amazing. Creamy risotto and perfectly seared tender scallops. The wine list offered something for all of us. An outstanding choice, recommend making a reservation.
Been visiting here since 1972 after reading an article in the NY Times. Never disappoints. Food is wonderful. Can sit for lunch looking out at the beautiful sun soaked meadows or take in the warmth from the lit fireplace in the dining room. The bar had an old fashioned carriage for many years which you could sit in n have a drink..nice people run this restaurant. Michael has owned it for years now, and is a very talented chef..Love this place.
