Food was great, service was also good but the atmosphere was unbelievable. The cooks were singing along to the music they had playing, which was Mexican of course, out loud, like yelling it.

ALWAYS delicious! I have become a HUGE fan! Grabbed this Amigos plate yesterday and was beyond satisfied. I've yet to try anything I didn't love! AND the staff is AMAZING! So sweet You all are awesome I'll keep sending people and love your way!

In terms of Tex-Mex restaurants, Oscar's stands out as one of the better choices in Abilene. While Tex-Mex cuisine is usually simple and hard to get wrong, some places still miss the mark. Thankfully, Oscar's is not one of them. I ordered the Fajita combo plate, which was delicious, and my wife enjoyed the Green Chili enchiladas, which were equally satisfying. My son had the tamale plate and loved it. One highlight of our experience was how they served the chips and salsa. Most Tex-Mex restaurants offer a big basket of chips with a small bowl of salsa that often runs out before you finish the chips. At Oscar's, however, they provided a generous bottle of salsa along with two bowls and a basket of chips. This was the first Tex-Mex restaurant where I didn't run out of salsa before finishing all the chips—in fact, we had enough salsa left over for an extra basket of chips. Oscar's deserves recognition for this alone. The waitstaff was attentive, checking in frequently to make sure we were enjoying our meal. They genuinely seemed to care about their customers and wanted to ensure our satisfaction. If I find myself craving Tex-Mex again, I will certainly return to Oscar's.

They serve chorizo at all hours and offer breakfast throughout the day. This place boasts some of the best Mexican cuisine in town—perhaps the very best. It's a charming family-owned restaurant with consistently welcoming service. The food is always outstanding.

The food was outstanding, showcasing a great selection of traditional dishes along with some unique options. The service was prompt and friendly, and I received a warm welcome from several staff members as soon as I arrived. The atmosphere had a pleasant, family-friendly feel.
