Monks Coffee Shop - Abilene

Super cute little coffee shop. Very reasonable prices, cheaper than Starbucks (and tastes better). Lots of different seating options. Perfect for relaxing alone or with friends. Plus offers military discounts and bottomless beverage options.

The coffee folks (baristas? were incredibly nice and helpful. Went with a tuxedo cold brew and it was perfect with my scone.They even had a recommendation for the scone flavor that would go best with my drink. Quiet and non-intrusive atmosphere.Next time I'm in town this will be my coffee spot.

What an outstanding coffee shop in Abilene. I've tried several and the this one, hands down, is the cats meow! The staff was amazing and friendly. I was in a bit of a hurry and they got me in and out. Now the blueberry muffin wasn't my favorite. It was denser than I like, still had great flavor tho. If you are local or staying downtown at the Doubletree it is worth the walk over to the shop.
