Asian Taste Lunch Express - Adelaide

I honestly have only gone to this place for the Vietnamese Rolls, but they are among the quickest, cheapest and tastiest rolls in Adelaide. Conveniently placed near the University of Adelaide, this small shop in the renaissance arcade has a dedicated group of buyers who specifically go there for the rolls. Each roll is loaded with pickled carrots and daikon radish, cucumber, pate, a savoury sauce and a choice of pork or chicken with or without chilli. The bread is flaky and crisp on the outside, while soft on the inside. I would highly recommend for the busy people who seek a good meal on the go.

Came here for a quick lunch, so decided to give their banh mi a shot! I ordered a cold cut banh mi because my Viet friends say that's the way to go. The pricing of this place is actually quite low in comparison to all the other places, and if you order a meal and you're a student, you can either select a free drink (can) or get a 10% discount, so that's a pretty good deal for all those students out there. So as i ate the banh mi, i could taste the different types of cold meat, carrots, lettuce... wait did you say lettuce? Yes, lettuce... this definitely isn't what you would expect from a normal banh mi, and it sure didn't go well with it. The lettuce were quite wet so it made the bread quite soggy and that sure ruined the experience. So if you're looking for a cheap and Asian alternative of Subway, you can come and try it, if not you're better off ordering something else on the menu, or a different place for banh mi.

Asian Taste Lunch Express is a rather bland name, but the food more than makes up for it Lunch time Pho and more is what this place does and it does it very

Fast, friendly service and a delicious Vietnamese Roll made for a very satisfying lunch experience. I would definitely return!

Wow , this place is good for their Beef Noodles - Pho. If I need my fix, don't have to go to Arndale Area any more
