I have the noodles with khumpao chicken huh was a bit hard and taste a little less, but that was okay and the sweet and acidic pork tasty. great place to go and I'll be safe back. beware of the people who run it. actually asia.
Inner city hidden gem. I stumbled in here by chance. it was about 2 o'clock on Friday and it was full of people (students and suits) happy on noodles and sushi removed. I stopped for a quick plate of kway teow nudels. the court was made fresh and came out of the order in about 5 mintues. the price was cheap, portion size was large and the quality was excellent. What can they ask for more? Maybe a good ambiente, but you don't go to a nude for the ambiente. the kway teow was just one of the best noodle dishes I experienced in adelaide. I'll be back when I have a nude prayer.
China Bar is at the Hindley Street end of the Railway station underpass. I was first introduced to Hainanese Chicken Rice here and that's what I keep coming back for - it is a generous serve with juicy, tender chicken. I love the sauces on the side. Plenty of tasty rice to soak up all the sauces at the end. Their sushi is also great quality.
What a place, truly a hidden jewel on the crazy Hindley street. Went there to try the sushi and was really amazed to see their offerings. Went for lunch the next day with a colleague and the food was great. You get a small ( size they call but perfect for one person) serving of noodles (non oily and just perfect) and 2 curries in 7.40 AUD. I got the noodles with Khumpao Chicken ( chicken was a bit hard and flavour a bit less) but that was okay and the sweet and sour pork (delicious). Great place to go and I am surely gonna go back.. Hats off to the people running it.. Truly Asia.. :)
Inner City Hidden Gem. I stumbled on this place purely by chance. It was about 2pm on a Friday and it was packed with people (students and suits) happily munching away on noodles and sushi. I stopped for a quick plate of Kway Teow noodles. The dish was made fresh and came out in about 5 mintues from ordering. The price was cheap, serving size was large and the quality was excellent. What more can you ask for? - well ambience maybe - but you dont go to a noodle bar for ambience. The Kway Teow was easily one of the best noodle dishes I have experienced in Adelaide. I will be back whenever I have a noodle craving.
