I needed to satisfy a banh mi today and somehow, they seem better! her brittle wine was even craspier than ever. they have a choice of rolling (crusty, not crispy and full grain) and a selection of meat, but obviously there is really only one choice crispy roast pork! they load the roll with salat their choice, meat and enough crispy pork, so there are some in every bite. they are the best worth of banh mi in the city.
If you are looking for a fresh and filling banh mi, come here! friendly staff and a filled roll keep me back for more. if the meat they are not asking in the window! the cook from the back is in the regular cooking away and the team from the front are more than to go and cut some more.
This place gets a decent line up thanks to its good price band mi that are fresh and generous with fillings (unless they buy the prefabricated, the late on the day I would not recommend). the hidden treasures are the Vietnamese nudelsalates and hot noodle boxes (after the attached picture). my recommendation for a place to buy her lunch when they work in the city. a different review is also read, which complains about wrong change; I have eaten here about two times a week, as long as I remember and had no problems with wrong change.
Where is my change B!CHE$. if they go to daily choice in southern cross arcade after a (mediated) vietnamese roll. many friendly employees (unwilling to serve customers who also change short-term), a selection of (two) vegetables/salades, a series of (tasteless) meats and a series of traditional sauces (tomaties, bbq and senf) all packed in a (2 weeks old stale) brotrolle.
...rolls are cheap (under $5), large in size and you get a choice of crunchy, soft or wholemeal rolls. Their lemongrass chicken is absolutely outstanding and if they sold it on it's own I'd happily buy it by the kilogram. The salad is fresh, the pickled carrots are delicious and you get a choice of chilli, coriander and soy sauce. If you're not a fan of lemongrass chicken you have the option to go with BBQ Pork or Roast Pork, though it must be said these aren't anywhere near as tasty as the chicken....
