Absolutely terrible food and a bad pub bistro style menu, as for the chefs special tartare sauce I have no idea what was going on there but it was awful. I had the seafood platter that was just fried frozen seafood and my friend had what can only be described as the most watery looking creamy pasta I have ever seen. Every plate we saw served around us included chips, shredded iceberg lettuce , one single slice of cucumber and one single slice of tomato. What a shame it is to see a great location go to such a waste.
Worst meal I have eaten in Adelaide. Stopped here mainly for the view overlooking the street. There was a lunch menu board outside with Beef parmies for $15, all pastas for $12. Nowhere on this board did it say the serving size was one quater of the normal size. Got our meals, parmie was about the size of a deck of cards, 3 bites and it was gone. Acompanied by half a cup of iceburg lettuce, and 8th of a tomato, and 2 slices of cucumber and some 4th time in the fryer' chips. Complained to the waitress and was told it was cheaper, you should have know it would be small'. That's funny, I thought $15 for a parmie wasn't that cheap at lunch time It wouldn't have mattered if it was the...read more
Terrible. Probably one of the most revolting meals I have had in a long time. A chicken salad which consisted of one very thin breast (no flavouring) sliced on top of iceberg lettuce, one piece of tomato and two pieces of cucumber and a sliver of red onion $23. I make it better at home! Not only that it was the only option for a gluten free person. In this day and age most restaurants have at least 2-3 options. Heavily fried, battered and oily food it is clear that the Chef only knows one way to cook. Prime location with revolting food, not sure how it has even lasted in Rundle St amongst much many other restaurants who cook with flair. The only positive thing I can say is that the...read more
Recommend for a nice experience. My girlfriend and I went there after having no luck anywhere else from being too full and/or overwhelming. When we walked in we requested a table for two they didn't give us the option for upstairs or downstairs so the waitress gave us our seats downstairs. We happily asked for upstairs and they kindly directed us up stairs to our very comfy, quiet, romantic table. The atmosphere was really nice and quiet. The food was great and showed to be a very tasty eat. For roughly $21 we ordered Fresh battered fish and chips with salad and Calamari with salad. The price was perhaps a little much however it was well worth it. The waiters and waitresses were very kind...read more
Meh... Prices are too high for quality. Menu isn't very vast, staff were friendly. Drinks came from bottles of coke ect. I had carbonara and sauce was a little floury, overall we had a good night but I do feel that it was due to the company (caught up with some old friends).
