We enjoyed schnitzel on the balcony on Tuesday night and followed it up with lunch on Wednesday (I unfortunately forgot to take photos of the lunch). The Chicken Caesar Salad was incredible! Everything was very reasonably priced... we will definitely be back!
While on holiday in Melbourne, I was relaxing and killing some time with a few refreshing beers on the balcony, enjoying people-watching and savoring a fantastic Salt and Pepper Squid Salad. The staff were incredibly friendly and even allowed me to charge my phone. I highly recommend this place!
Lovely hidden gem upstairs bar. Food great, beer cold, staff accommodating. Yep, go here.
I recently reserved Harry's Bar for a party I was hosting, and the entire experience was incredibly smooth. Michael, the manager, was extremely helpful during the planning stages, providing clear explanations of our options and advice on food quantities. On the night of the event, Gus and Tom were both friendly and attentive to my guests and me. I had the opportunity to display my photos on their televisions and play my music through their sound system. The bar's décor and layout were excellent, and the costs were quite reasonable. I will definitely consider booking Harry's Bar again for another similar event. Thank you very much – I highly recommend it!
We went here with a challenge to spend $200 of lost-bet money. 10 people and 2 hours later, we hadn't met that challenge. This place is cheap! The upstairs area hasn't been touched since the 70s by the looks of it, which is kind of cool. Downstairs has been newly renovated, making it now acceptable for after-work drinks. They do a small selection of cocktails, as well as coffee and food. Oysters are their specialty.
