Lovely atmosphere at Kicco, even when it is really busy. All the staff are really friendly and the service is efficient. GREAT coffee. they have a variety of breakfast options but I went for the brekky wrap which hit the spot.
When you're a Melbourne based traveller in foreign lands (or Adelaide), you make mental notes of the places that deliver high grade caffeine drinks. Kicco is one such place. Conveniently located near The Dear Luncher's place of employ in Adelaide, it is a safe bet every time. Breakfast is decent too. The Dear Luncher adores the "big brekky wrap". thedearluncher.wordpress.com
Have only had coffee here so can't comment on the food. Fast, professional service with a nice, busy inner city atmosphere gets the 2.5 pointa, but the coffee is weak, bitter, with overly heated milk. If they used better beans, weigh their baskets, keep an eye their grind, use smaller cups to improve the espresso:milk ratio, then they'll be on their way to a 5... But how busy this place is without them making good coffee makes me think they never will do those things :(.
You can judge a cafe on its eggs florentine and Kicco have not only produced one of the best breakfasts I've had in Adelaide but topped it with the best coffee I've ever tasted.
