La Piazza Cafe - Adelaide

Three of us met for lunch at this charming and airy cafe. The ordering system is at the bar and your meals are brought to your table. We all enjoyed dishes such as the Atlantic Salmon, Haloumi, chicken pumpkin, and Chicken Avocado Salads. The coffee was good and they also had a nice selection of cakes.

I stopped by this place to grab some coffee and breakfast to go. I requested a sandwich with toast and eggs, to be made like a sandwich so I could take it with me. My order was ready fairly quickly. The sandwich was a bit dry, but they did make the eggs runny as I had requested, which is not something many places do. Unfortunately, I did not enjoy the coffee and ended up throwing it away after just one sip. What bothered me the most was the price - I didn't realize until later that night when going through my receipts that I was charged $7 for a bacon and egg sandwich (even though it didn't have any bacon) and then an additional $1 for a special, totaling $8 for a very average breakfast sandwich. I was not pleased with this experience at all.

Great location with nice pizza, why? Because the crusty base was yum. It pretty basic decor but comfortable with good service. Pizzas are pretty big so don't have eyes bigger than stomach.
