La Souk - Adelaide

I tried the merguez sausages and cous cous at this restaurant and I was very impressed with the flavors and presentation. The mint tea and coffee were also delicious.

The chakchouka at this restaurant made for a delicious breakfast full of flavor. We weren't sure which variety we ordered, as we were persuaded by a man offering us a date fruit while wandering through the markets. After chatting with him and expressing our preference for spicy food, he had the chef prepare the spicy sausage chakchouka for us. We thoroughly enjoyed the dish, which was packed with a variety of spices. The meal came with warm crusty bread for dipping into the sauce. Additionally, we tried a tea with pine nuts in it, which was a unique and pleasant experience.

I cannot get enough of this restaurant. The Menu is absolutely out of this world it 's so delicious. The staff are friendly and I always feel welcome. This is 'le bled '! Translation, it is home sweet home.The prices are not expensive at all contrary to some reviews I have read. A whole couscous huge plate of couscous costs just as much as a gourmet sandwich in Adelaide. The Couscous is a time consuming dish to prepare as opposed to a sandwich and it is a very healthy meal.I would suggest to take away a pot of harrissa as I am a conaisseur of this ingredient and it is by far the best interpretation I have ever tasted. It is SO delicious, and you can use it to complement just about anything at home.

Azoo is a place that will charm you and make you feel satisfied after indulging in a delicious lamb couscous. Their traditional, high-quality North African comfort food is expertly slow-cooked to soothe the soul.

Stopped here on my trip to the Adelaide market. Super friendly staff and the best peppermint tea with pine nuts. Unfortunately I didn’t have the food as I had eaten already although it looked and smelled amazing!
