Unfortunately, the cattle cheeks were not available, but the Panko chicken cutlet was a delicious alternative. The fries were good, not too salty. The club sandwich was massive like a Darryl Eastlake burger, so make sure to bring your appetite. They don't just have burgers and pizzas - I plan on trying the crispy salmon fillet next time. The service was good, although the food did take a bit longer to come out. However, since we weren't in a rush, it wasn't a big issue. And best of all, the prices were reasonable. I'll definitely be returning to this restaurant.
After only a few days in Adelaide, we discovered Lindes Lane Cafe and Bar by chance. Despite the chilly night, we were warmly welcomed. I ordered the salmon with crispy skin, which was incredibly delicious. Unfortunately, my husband's first choice of cattle cheeks was sold out, but he settled for another option and still enjoyed his meal. Lindes Lane is a great spot for a casual meal and drinks.
We stopped by for lunch and found the staff to be friendly. The menu had a good selection for a small restaurant. I ordered the chicken club sandwich, which was very generous and delicious. I would definitely order it again. The only downside was that the food took a bit longer to come out than anticipated, likely because the restaurant was not very busy. However, we were not in a rush so it wasn't a major issue.
Was with a friend in town and we decided to get a drink. good 3 cocktails and a bottle of wine the latter we decided to eat something. This is a groovy little place right at the Rundle Mall. Great helpful staff... and the food is amazing that you should go there after you finish work.
Stopped in for lunch during a Saturday shopping trip and we are so glad we found this little gem! Have always thought of Lindes Lane as a wine bar, but am happy to say the food is fantastic! The pear couscous salad was delicious! Well...seasoned and a great size serve. The club sandwich was enormous and just as tasty visually as it was to eat. Would recommend to anyone that wants a great meal away from the hustle and bustle of the CBD during the lunchtime rush.
