On a rare night out, we headed to Max Brenner for dessert after having Thai for dinner. I had heard good reviews on this place it didn’t disappoint. The menu board was very eye catching. Bright led screen with rotating pictures showcasing their signature...desserts. We watched some of the desserts being made before selecting to try the fondue for 2 a milk hot chocolate to share in a hug mug. Beautiful melted chocolate, we opted for milk dark with our fondue. The restaurant wasn’t overly busy at 8.30, but after speaking to the waitress, it does get very busy around 9.30-10.00 onward. We only waited about 10 minutes for our dessert to come out. We couldn’t eat it all, nice fruit, marshmallows banana bread. There is an array of dessert bars down this end of Rundle street. I thinks it’s just a matter of picking one. They all offer different desserts. I’d highly recommend Max Brenner.
Oh my goodness, I had fantastic desserts at this restaurant on more than one occasion while we were on holiday. If only they were in the UK!
This place is amazing! The service was fantastic right from the sample of chocolate at the door as we walked in the plate of taster mini chocolates while we decided what we wanted from the extensive menu. Each dish has been prepared with such...care, the display is brilliant the taste just as good. I didn’t pay attention to the prices but I think they were good, no one complained. I shared the pizza! It was brilliant. The other photos are from my friends. I tried most of them. They were all great!
We tried the decadent chocolate ice cream and found it to be intense and rich, almost overpowering but still hitting the mark. It was delicious, dark, and incredibly smooth. Absolutely mind-blowing.
