I chose to go there for a breakfast one morning, as I did not wish to walk too far from the hotel. Althoug the coffee has improved in recent times, it is still not up to the standards of better coffee houses. I am not complaining, as I do not mind their coffee most of the time. As with most other places, this can occasionally vary. My breakfast wrap was not the best thing that I have ever tasted, but it does not come near to being the worst. If all a customer wants is a quick and easy McDonald's in Adelaide, then this would normally fit the bill.
On Friday or Saturday nights, it can get a bit dirty and messy outside this restaurant. I have witnessed vomit near the trash bin and in the gutter. However, one night while we were out and drunk, we decided to grab a bite to eat. Despite being intoxicated, I will never forget that burger. It was dripping with oil/fat as I took a bite and was by far the worst McDonald's burger I have ever had. As a result, we now avoid that McDonald's location altogether.
Wanted something simple and quick for lunch. This was close to hot.el and opened on Good Friday. It really hit the spot
Staff were going through the motions saying the right thing but did not once look at anyone, smile or even try to pretend to want to be there. No eye contact, no smile no interest in their job at all. Girl who served me not even glimpse up from register. Food arrived very fast so thank god we didnt have to stay there with the misery
Register staff are pretty average, but the barista is one of the best i've seen. He should be working in some trendy up market cafe. Always friendly, talkative, polite and makes every effort to give you your coffee quickly for you to enjoy :)
