I've been visiting for years and was unfortunately very underwhelmed. eating was in order, but quite forgettable and not asked for the net. drink the prices similar hefty, also for grundbier. the service ranged between very good,...he let us say inexperienced, depending on who visits the table. final kicker no working air conversations happen and as one of them it is understandable, but judging by the reviews, this has been a problem for weeks.
I had better meal times in a pub! average overpriced Mexican, they save money and go to zambreros! the pork ribs were boiled over and coated in a much sweeter sauce, accompanied by an salate, if that is what they call a “seed” that was. simply salate, a few bits watermelon and covered. the lamming shoulder was lacking in taste and the kartoffels were done under. I would not recommend there are much better Mexican places in adelaide.
For a restaurant that claims to be the best mexican, it is far away! admittedly it has said the best Mexican restaurant in and so maybe not today. eating was moderate, over price and not worth money. we ordered tacos, nachos, pork and calamari. there was no single food item that woke us or we would say we want to go back. the service was annoying, at a point where we wanted to move tables, was told to move unused cutlery itself. the only authentic thing were the bathroom, disgusting! Maybe it hadn't been washed for weeks. so rough. with so many good restaurants in adelaide, please do not go to this, not worth and not worth money.
Just because a place is cheap, trashy and overpriced doesn’t mean you can’t have fun. It’s just very far below even the most basic tourist chump Mexican food you’ll encounter. If you switch off, have a few drinks and have good company and don’t think...too hard it’s ok, if you don’t mind paying through the nose, but next time I’ll look for a place with better and truer flavours and a simpler, more food- and customer-centred MO.
