I was pleasantly surprised to find that they were right! Last Tuesday evening, I dined on a delicious Habanero Prawn and Grilled Chicken Taco, paired with several Pacifico Lagers and a fantastic jalapeño margarita. The atmosphere, friendly service, and open kitchen all reminded me of my travels in Mexico. I enjoyed my experience so much that I returned last night. I had been eyeing the Duck Nachos, and they did not disappoint. Paired with a Day of The Dead PA and a cocktail special, it was a perfect combination. In my opinion, these were the best nachos I've ever had, and I regret having to share them with my date. I am still debating whether it would be too strange to go back for lunch today. The flavors and spice were just right, and the taste still lingers in my memory. The service was excellent, and the waitstaff were always attentive. I am confident that I will be returning next week. In short, I give it a 10/10 rating. Absolutely amazing. Don't miss out on the Duck Nachos, Pacifico, and Jalapeño Margarita.
This restaurant is absolutely stunning. The staff were extremely helpful in explaining the menu and recommending drinks. We ordered the duck nachos, mango chicken tacos, and two small entrees, all of which were cooked perfectly and presented beautifully. The prices were reasonable for two people and I would highly recommend this restaurant to all my friends.
Amazing service. Amazing atmosphere. Amazing food!! We went for 4 of the Beach Cantinas (entrees) and 2 of the small mains and shared between the two of us. Flavour explosion! Stuffed to the brim. Meals came out super quick. Highly recommend the Lamb and Mezcal Fajitas. To die for... Try with a Day of the Dead Pale Ale. Brilliant. Also well priced and great, fresh, quality ingredients. We'll be back and be telling everyone to try these guys out!
They are not the Mexican you are used to of a by gone era. This place is modern, it has a smidge of Asian flavour which is unique to Australia. The duck nachos are put on the table when I arrive. They are lick the bowl good!! I would go every single night just to eat the duck nachos! The menu has changed somewhat and so have the surroundings since my review but the quality of the food is superb. As the restaurant calls them, their 'show off ' chefs out do themselves. Before you go please call and make a booking.
At first I was sure Mexican food would not be my thing. However the serves were amazing. Family advised me to have a couple of entrees and a small main. Fantastic. The best bit though was the really great service by the delightful waitress and staff. Recommended!
