Morchella Cafe Unley - Adelaide

Comfy, homely café that offers big breakfasts filled with love... and they have bacon! Coming over from Melbourne on a family matter, we just wanted a nice breakky place to give a semblance of normality. In Hyde Park, every other café on this strip only offers snacks and coffee, not a sit down full café experience. The coffee here is amazing. Strong, with a divine bitter chocolate aftertaste. Decor is cool and trendy without being stuck up. Toilet is beautiful inside and spacious for accessibility. Customer service is bang on. Food is interesting, colourful, flavourful and upmarket. The prices are totally reasonable too. We are so thankful for this lovely spot you were the shining light in our otherwise sad visit. 5 stars!

The chicken mushroom pasta is so delicious. The portion of dishes is good too. Definitely a good restaurant. Highly recommend. The staffs are helpful and kind. Service is great.

UPDATE!! I am pleased to inform you that Morchella is open on Boxing Day! The restaurant offers a variety of excellent lunch options as always. Morchella is quickly becoming a standout among the bustling cafes on King William Street. They serve smooth, flavorful coffee and delightful iced drinks that are both visually appealing and delicious. The brunch and lunch menu is creative and every item we have tried has been tasty. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Morchella offers the best value in Hyde Park by far. The only downside is that we wish they would extend their opening hours.

I had a very enjoyable burger at this restaurant. The omelette appeared simple, but was actually quite delicious. Overall, it was a great dining experience.

The cafe has a fantastic atmosphere and the staff are wonderful. The food had generous portion sizes and was packed with flavor.
