We noticed the sign indicating fresh noodles and gave it a go...we will defiantly be back. We had ordered dumplings and the spring onion pancake along with a beef dish and spicy chicken with fresh rice noodles. The meal came out all together and was far far too much. Absolutely delicious dumplings, and the chicken was just beautiful. We just couldn't possibly finish it. The staff were attentive and friendly. Prices are very reasonable.
Overall it was ok, I would definatelly go back. The service wasn't consistant, at first we had them coming to us every 5 mins but once we ordered they were now where to be found. Salt & pepper soft shell crab was my top dish, absolutely amazing. Dumplings were not great. The duck in plum sauce - wasn't a great sauce and way to much so masked the flavour of the duck completely.
This bustling Chinese restaurant has been our favorite for years. It's hand made noodles are superb. We normally order one of their noodle soups, onion pancakes, and dumplings. The prices are excellent at less than $10 for a massive bowl, food quality is outstanding, and the service great. You know this is a good chinese restaurant as its normally filled with local Asians. They have a massive menu but we found that the more unusual dishes are too 'foreign' for our taste. You can even buy a reasonably priced wine or beer. For quality and value we haven't found a downtown eatery that can match Noodle Kingdom.
This is an amazing restaurant in the smack centre of Gouger St Adelaide City. The hand made noodles at Noodle Kingdom are cooked to perfection in dozens of variety. We picked the Shanghai Noodle which is also known as Shanghai Chinese New Year pasta. We loved it because it is tasty and it is very 'al dente'. My Italian friends all enjoy the noodles from this little eatery.Tonight I also picked some very unusual dishes such as 'Pig's Ears' served in chilly oil. I understand that Vietnamese people also have this dish for Vietnamese New Year. This dish is more than good if you can tolerate the extremely hot chilly.Bitter melon is said to be good for people with diabetes, we were glad to have this an entree. Pan fried dumplings were the winner of the dinner tonight.
Im going to start of by saying that I hate chinease food. Its always bad. My partner however loves it. And after returning from china was obsessed with noodles. I am now obsessed with the food here. We eat at noodle kingdom 3 times a week. I have a weak stomach and have never felt sick after eating here like most other chinease places.I recomend the sliced beef and chinease broccoli and the pork, prawn and beef dumplings pan fried is best. My partner has tried most of the noodle dishes and recomends them all. We eat here so frequently and have never had a bad experience. 100% recomend eating here. Also the meals are numbered and the staff speak decent english they are very accomodating and nice.
