Also "I would like also like some ID to copy?"The card and drivers were then taken out of view to another room and immediately a charge of $100 appeared on my AMX fraud /payment charge app. At no time did the check in person ask permission to make this charge or explain the reason. When challenged they attempted to defend the non authorization by stating they had advised the card transaction would occur.My elderly father in law the next to check in said he did not want a credit charge on his account and would provide a $100 cash deposit - no that was not acceptable but we would accept $350 deposit from a soon to be 80year old!Customer focus was to justify situation and misrepresent that we had been advised of charge. Mean while 80 years old did not get checked in. Same stAtements made to following clients checking in . Some new of this process so accepted it. Only got attention/some action by management by staying at reception. Eventually got an apology fromManager and he also advised some of the story to expedia. Expedia who booking was made through outstanding in managing situation. So keep using their service.Peppers need to re think transparency at check in, also inadequate security procedures taking ID and credit card to another room to copy. Leaves their clients open to identity theft and potential fraudSuggest until confidence in security and transparency improves avoid Peppers Hotels
Travelled with 6 couples, we had amazing rooms. Everything was clean I didn't hear a complaint from anyone. We had the breakfast, amazing. Staff from door man to consiarge were friendly n helpful, organise taxi's for us numerous times. Happy hour was good. Great place, easy to get to all venues.
It feels like home from home. We spent 2 nights here and enjoyed it very much. The staff make the place with their friendly and welcoming attitude. The room we had was very comfortable although it would have been nice to have robes to walk back from the swimming pool. The heating was a little on the high side and we were unable to reduce the temperature which left us a little overheated in the night. The pool area was spotlessly clean, the pool water the perfect temperature. The spa was comfortably hot and so relaxing. We will definitely be visiting Peppers Weymouth again
Our breakfast at Peppers was a part of the package and included all that you would expect from a buffet (except hash browns as highlighted by a kid on the next door table) Service was good and the food was of a good standard without being exceptional.
This was my third time at Peppers for lunch with friends and family and we had a great time and meal. Staff were great and so was the food.
