I was pleasantly surprised to discover the hidden gem that is Red Ochre Grill. However, my pork belly dish was disappointing as it was mostly fatty and not properly cooked. Despite this, the flavors were amazing. The mushroom risotto was delicious and the dessert was a hit. Overall, a mixed experience but worth a visit for the tasty food.
If you want to impress someone, visit this stunning restaurant with a view overlooking the beautiful city from the Torrens River. The service is exceptional, with every hostess impeccably dressed and attentive to every need without being intrusive. This was my second visit this month and once again, I left very satisfied and impressed by the perfect service. The food was delicious, with the entree tasting plate and main courses being highlights. The wattleseed gnocchi melted in my mouth, while the kangaroo fillet with sweet potato mash was excellent. The side salad and black onion-doused French fries were unique and flavorful. The desserts, including meringue with quangdong and thyme sorbet, and coconut chocolate mousse petits fours, were also delicious. Overall, I highly recommend this venue for a first-class dining experience. It may be a little pricey, but it is definitely worth it.
This restaurant is exactly what we have been looking for - fresh, clean, and balanced food! We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the dishes, from the breads and entrees to the mains and salads. The emu and squid entrees were beautifully presented and refreshing. The mains of steak and chicken were perfectly cooked, with the steak being a medium well done and the chicken being succulent. We also enjoyed a rocket salad with fresh peas, although our daughter ended up eating most of the peas, which speaks volumes about their quality. Overall, we were impressed with the food at this restaurant.
As always I scoured the menu before booking the restaurant and oh look, there is crocodile, emu and kangaroo. I stopped eating our native animals a number of years ago. I'm a huge animal lover and the thought of eating them breaks my heart. The land I live in is called Denial. All meat comes from a shop, that's all I know and that's all I want to know. There are plenty of other options on the menu so it's not like I will leave hungry, quite the opposite in fact. To read the rest of my review, please click on the website below. Enjoy.
