Tan Nhu Y - Adelaide

I have frequented this particular restaurant with my family (who are Vietnamese) for many years, and unfortunately, it seems that the owner has not made any effort to improve the decor, hire competent staff, or use quality ingredients in their dishes. As a result, the restaurant has become dated and unorganised. Instead of modernising to attract a new customer base, the owners have chosen to cut back on costs, which has led to a cycle of decline in the restaurant's popularity and loyal customer base. Unfortunately, this was evident during our recent Mother's Day dining experience, which was very disappointing. If the owners continue to disregard their customers' needs and concerns, it's unlikely that they will survive in the long run. For us, we have decided not to return, and we recommend that others consider dining elsewhere where your patronage is valued.

Went for my bday dinner. Ordered sharksfin soup. Chicken fried in curry sauce. Lemongrass beef. N combination hotpot rice which is llike claypot rice with meat n mushrooms. The beef was a tad chewy. Lemongrass flavor was nice. Curry a bit spicy but not much flavor. The hotpot rice was fragrant but too much onion in it. I probably wont be back. Soft drink menu was limited although they offer smoothies.

We have visited numerous Vietnamese restaurants in Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, and Vietnam, but this one stands out as the best! The food is fantastic, the service is excellent, the staff are friendly, and the owner even greets you personally. The portion sizes are generous and prices are reasonable. If you don't see a dish you want on the menu, just ask and they will likely be able to make it for you. This is a restaurant that you will want to come back to time and time again, and bring your friends to show them what they've been missing. Bon Appetit!

The food at this restaurant is fantastic, and the family-friendly atmosphere is wonderful. The steamed dim sims are the best I've had, and the salt and pepper pork is absolutely delicious.
