Excellent value food and cooked to perfection (the steak that is) great pub centrally located to hotel where I was staying. Would definitely recommend

Have been to The Union for meals a few times now and I haven't been disappointed yet. Service has always been good and food wait times have been fast at best and acceptable at worst.Most recently had the Wagyu beef and mushroom burger off the specials menu. I have to say I was impressed. Chips were hot, crunchy and perfectly seasoned. Burger pattie was cooked to medium which is just right. Bacon added a nice smokiness. Flavours worked well. No faults.I'll be back. As long as they keep serving good food.

Dinner by the warm fireplace on a rainy Thursday night...there is nothing better! Well except for eating delicious Atlantic Salmon by the fireplace on a rainy Thursday night. Although a little noisy, this place was super cozy. The salmon, a tad overcooked but delicious all the same, was served with a cauliflower cream, broccolini and a potato leek rosti. Balanced flavours and served beautifully.

Great pub chicken schnitzel. Fresh and large serve. Well presented. Service pretty quick, although it was relatively quite.Reasonable value at $21

We came here for lunch and we were really blown by this gem. <br/ <br/ I ordered the gnocchi which fresh, delicious and melted in your mouth. Others ordered the chicken schniztel and said it was very tasty. Both meals were a generous serving. <br/ <br/ The service was really friendly and the ambience was lovely and inviting. The pub also has happy our between 5 7 which was a nice touch.<br/ <br/ We would recommend trying this place.
