Jack's Restaurant - Agassiz

Meh. Service wasn't super awesome or friendly but it was very busy so I'd let it slide. Food was really good, 4/5.

We had an excellent meal out on the patio in the evening on a Tuesday night. I had the fish and chips with a side of vegetables. We also had excellent service.

This restaurant recently changed hands again, so we thought we'd give it a try. Sadly, it can be summed up with our beer-on-tap refill. My husband dropped his olive pit (Greek salad intro) into his empty glass. The same glass came back, refilled and complete with olive pit effervescing from the bottom! The rest was downhill from there...undercooked vegetables, starch-laden entree...

We had just left Harrison Hot Springs and decided to stop for breakfast in Agassiz. We found they were filming a movie at Jack's restaurant in the afternoon, but it was still open for breakfast. We had the simple bacon and eggs, it was cooked just right and the price was right too. It's a nicely decorated restaurant and the bathroom is very nice too, these little touches aren't usually found in a small place like this. I would definitely go there for breakfast again.
