McDonald's - Airdrie

This location of the iconic fast food chain that is McDonald's had superior fries than those I had in Calgary. The staff is very friendly and efficient; they handled my order quickly even though it was a custom order without certain ingredients.The location is on a one way 'frontage road' and so may be challenging to get to if one approaches the restaurant heading northbound.

This was a standard McDonald's fast food. It was clean with quick friendly service and easy to find.

Well this is like all the rest ....except for one difference. And that is the service from all the staff. Every member of the team smiles, asks how are you today and what would like to order. The Management at this franchise store has to congratulated on training their staff to deliver excellent customer service. And the Staff should be thanked by management for delivering the product with a great smile and a thank you.

Had Drive-Thru service, so the cold, half-filled fries were not noticed until on our way out of town. The lettuce was brown and floppy, with next to no mayo on the Chicken Sandwich.... So we called to complain.On our next trip, we decided to take them up on their offer to 'make it right' - but they couldn't even see their way to put our name on the list properly. Too bad for us!Nobody cares... unbelievable, to be honest. But then, expectations should be lowered at this location for anything to be barely acceptable, at best.Drive further down the road to try your luck elsewere.

First of all let me say it shocks me I am about to review a McDonalds. I am an infrequent McVisitor and am not usually a fan, but this experience was so positive I feel obligated.We visited during breakfast hours on July 11, and were served by Kelly. She was very friendly and yet not too bubbly to annoy my partner who is not a morning person!). She helped us by describing what was in a number of the breakfast items and the difference between the egg used in some sandwiches.We had a large order and everything came out accurately, and was hot too. I had the new Canadian BLT breakfast muffin and I have to say it was delicious. It was hot, vegetables were fresh, and the bacon was not as measly as I seem to recall on other long-ago breakfast visits. The hash browns as well seemed very fresh and were not greasy or mushy like I seem to remember. The coffee drinkers in the group always rave about their coffee.The restaurant and restrooms were very clean, and it was a busy time of day. While we ate we could see some of the staff smiling and joking with some customers and with each other as they worked. It was clear the staff enjoy working here which is very different than many McDonalds experiences I recall.Overall it was a very positive experience. Thank you Kelly!
