Silver Star Restaurant - Airdrie

My parents and I hit this place up when we realized that Peppercorn's was closed down at the former location on the East side of QE2.

We ordered delivery and the food came quicklyHowever it's quality left much to be desired.

Normally it's okay, but tonight we tried it, and sadly will be our lastOver cooked, not overly warmDumplings where over cooked but yet chewy.

If you are in a hurry but do not want fast food, drop in for a buffet delight, anything you could want and ice cream and cookies for desert. Great for the whole family. No MSG either.

You always have to try other Chinese restaurants and just see and taste how the competition are doing. From my pervious reviews I have rated others better than the New Silver Star. Well if I could I would downgrade the first 2......however this is not possible with how Trip advisor is a set up. So, that being said I was at the Silver Stat on a Sunday night at about 5:20pm. The entire buffet was full of some great selections. As I am mostly a vegetarian I tried all the veggie dishes that were low in sugar. They were all extremely fresh, not greasy and all Very good. Had one chicken dish and it was good as well. If you have a craving for Chinese I would suggest the Star over all others in Airdrie.
