We stopped into auberge la grange on our drive from France to Italy! We were so happy to have foundthis restaurant. We were warmly greeted and seated anywhere we like. The man allowed us to bring our little dog inside which was nice! We started with a 1/2Litre of Rose and my husband and I both ordered the steak frites. The steak was cooked perfectly and the Rose was excellent This was my favourite meal that I have ever had in France!
It is well worth getting off the A26/E15 as it is only 5 minutes from the motorway! On our way to Arras we had a late lunch here and the food choice was really good and so was the wine list. The staff was attentive and helpful. The food arrived in good time and was very tasty. The wine list is pretty good but since the Beaujolais was just out, we stuck to that. We finished with a couple of Cognac's and the best of it all ... the price!
We found Dave's place quite by chance as we wanted late morning refreshment on our journey. My wife wanted coffee and a patisserie and was conducted into the kitchen to choose a delightful little tart. I enjoyed a wonderful cold beer in the sunshine. In fact is was so good I had another.
