Bar Le Gavroche - Ajaccio

We recently stopped at this little place for lunch. The service was slow as they hardly understand English which is ok but what's not ok was after eating nearly all our salad we found a live worm crawling in the salad leaves. We showed the owner who just shrugged and said it's lettuce it's normal, we were still charged and we paid for the food as communication difficult and We ordered a few things and none were good, would not go back.

We where hungry and just wanted an easy bite. This place looked ideal and it filled its purpose of giving us food. That was the only thing they managed to do right. It was very expensive for a pasta bolognese which mostly consisted of 3 min pasta and almost no bolognese. If you had bought all the ingredients in the store yourself and made it at home, you would probably make a much tastier and cheaper meal than this.

We had our lunch here. As there were a few locals eating we thought it must be an OK place. We were right, the waitress was very pleasant and helpful and soon produced our meal which was quite large. We had the special meal for the day but there was quite a selection available. It had a bar inside and the toilets were very clean. Well worth a visit.

I recommend your passage to the bridge. you eat very well the welcome of the angels that you will be very appreciated that it is of great kindness of simplicity that I love it
