All of these items from the on line menu with photos. The vegetables I ordered from the menu was , cauliflower, eggplants, potatoes, peas. All I got was canned peas, canned corn and potatoes. $7.00 the buttered chicken, they told me over the phone 20 minutes. Got there at the time suggested and the chicken was old, not fresh. The sauce tasted like campbels tomato soup with cream and spice . The rice ok.As far as this Indian restaurant now called red onion bla bla bla. Should close down and save face.Interior setting poor. How we allow these establishment to open is beyond me. Health inspector you should do a better job. Ajax, where are your standards.
This was the first time ordering under the new owners. It was not disappointing!! The food was delicious, and we look forward to ordering again! YUM!
Small resturant, relatively new. Food is average. Service is good. We ordered Briyani and Nihari during our last visit. There was no wow factor. Average food with average taste. Nihari was little spicy. Nihari cost around 9.99 and I belive 6.99 for briyani. They do have lunch special during weekdays. We went on Sunday.
I am fond of South Asian food, but had bad Experience having food from this location. It's costly comparing other local Restaurants in Ajax, Pickering, ie Silver Spoon, Food Time, etc. I had family came from Chicago last week of August, So ordered couple of Dishes for Take Out. Chicken Karhai had Full of Oil, Naan Bread was mostly burnt from corners, Chicken Biryani was not fresh at all. Only Plain rice /chicken Booty, and Masala Dal had some taste, Overall, felt embarrassment serving such food to family.
My coworkers and I ordered food for pick up today I ordered the butter chicken. When it arrived I was disappointed. Thee was only chicken No rice or naan bread my coworkers and I will no longer be ordering from this establishment. There are many other choices for this style of food in our area.
