My only downside is that they close at 3 PM, which doesn't work well for me since I’m not often downtown at that time. I suppose that gives me a reason to visit earlier! As for parking, like most places downtown, there’s paid street parking available right outside for just $1 per hour. However, it can be tricky to find a spot during peak times since parking is somewhat limited.
During our visit to Chameleon Cafe, we were pleasantly surprised not only by the delicious food and tasty coffee beverages but also by the incredibly kind and helpful staff. We chose to sit outside with our dog, who was treated to plenty of love and treats from the workers. Although the menu doesn't explicitly highlight them, many items can be made vegan if you're interested. I ordered the sweet potato and black bean burrito with a vegan twist, and it was fantastic. My partner enjoyed the breakfast power bowl (which isn't vegan) and was also quite pleased. For drinks, I highly recommend the vanilla shaken espresso. As for vegetarian options, many dishes are naturally vegetarian and can easily be adjusted to be vegan by omitting cheese and eggs, or by substituting cheese with a vegan alternative (though there's no egg substitute available).
My husband and I have no complaints about this café and its offerings! It's a charming little grab-and-go spot located a short walk from the Metro Bus, with a few scattered tables at both the front and back. It can accommodate up to 8 or 10 people at the one shared table in the back. We ordered the Chicken Cilantro Lime Panini, and it exceeded our expectations. It was juicy and packed with flavor. If you're a fan of Panera sandwiches, I believe this is a much better alternative—just my humble (and somewhat 'crunchy') opinion. We also tried the banana foster cold brew, which pleasantly surprised me; it had a genuine banana flavor rather than the artificial taste I've encountered elsewhere (looking at you, Sheetz). It leaned more toward a coffee-forward flavor, though the cold brew itself was quite mild. We will definitely be back to try more!
Super cute Cafe. Excellent food wonderful people behind the counter. They even have gluten free options that are really tasty.
I loved this place. I’m 6 months pregnant and constantly talk about grilled cheese and jam or like a sweet and salty combo. They had a fig and apple sandwich and it was THE BEST. I also got their triple chocolate frappe and it was super yummy. Everyone was so nice, definitely added to my favorite restaurants list!
