Jimmy John's - Akron

I was very disappointed with my experience. It took 50 minutes for my delivery to arrive, and when it finally did, the driver rolled down the windows, making my food completely cold. It seemed like all I could smell was marijuana. I assume they must have been distracted the entire time, which is probably why my order took so long. I definitely won't be ordering from this place again. The service was subpar, and the manager was not helpful at all. Thanks, Jimmy John's, but that was my last order.

I ordered at 11am on Oct 24, 2022. I gave 2 orders because one was for me the patient. The other was for my son, caregiver. They were supposed to be delivered together. But only one order was delivered to the Akron General hospital, 224 West Exchange St, Akron, Oh. What happened to the other order? As of 1:20pm the other order was never delivered!!! Why??? This is TERRIBLE BUSINESS PRACTICE!!! I don't think they are dependable! The manager apologized on phone. But delivery girl never did.

I love Jimmy John's but if you want my honest opinion this is by far one of the most busiest places in all of Akron, Ohio. This place is busy especially with its lunch rush that happens. It's quick sure but it's preferred to order in person than online just because in person orders are more priority. Friendly staff, fair prices. Definitely a good place to check out.

I placed a catering order a day in advance for lunch at work, specifying that it should be ready for pickup by 11:45 the next day. However, when I arrived, the order was not ready. I called at 11:50 to inform them that we were running a few minutes late, and was told that my order should be ready when we arrived. It felt as though they hadn’t even realized I had placed an order until I reached out. I’d like to give them the benefit of the doubt—perhaps there was an issue with the online ordering system? Overall, I was disappointed with the experience. We ended up receiving the food at 12:30, even though we were only 10 minutes away.
