Mama's Hot Dogs - Akron

New to OH and Googled “chili dogs near me”, and Mama’s was the first result, so I made a visit! So glad I did. The ladies there were very welcoming, and the chili dogs and fries I took to-go were delicious! A little different than I’m used to, but tasty nonetheless. I’ll definitely return, and next time I’ll bring friends!

I had been wanting to try this place for quite some time, and I'm really glad I finally did. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the food was outstanding. I ordered a massive coney slaw dog, and it definitely met my expectations. However, I realized that my eyes were bigger than my stomach! Make sure to come here with a big appetite because they serve generous portions that will more than satisfy your hunger!

Hot dogs were the best I order one of each one can’t say I didn’t like any they were all good I’d definitely will be getting them again

Wanted some takeout to eat during my lunch break and randomly discovered this place. Let me tell you, it did not disappoint! Everything is cooked to order and was fresh and delicious. Way too expensive. Who pays $12 for just a couple of hot dogs and fries? That doesn’t even include a drink! And then you have to tip a few bucks, so that comes to $15 total. The hours of operation are ridiculous as well; it seems more like a hobby than a real job.
