Pots Pans Jamaican Cuisine - Akron

I visited this restaurant for the first time last night and was impressed right away. The atmosphere was welcoming as soon as we walked in. After a brief look at the menu, we placed our orders. I had the oxtails, which were wonderfully seasoned and paired perfectly with the white rice and cabbage, both of which were also cooked to perfection. My friend chose the Jerk Chicken, and she thoroughly enjoyed it as well. Both meals were generous portions and offered great value for the money. We even had enough left over for the next day's lunch!

I’ve been to this restaurant about eight times with different people since it opened a few months ago, and each visit has been incredible. The moment we start eating, everyone tends to fall silent, lost in the deliciousness of the food. This place truly stands out; it’s a gem among the many great dining options in the city. The staff is Jamaican, and they clearly take pride in preparing authentic and flavorful dishes. The portion sizes are generous enough for two meals, and while prices range from $9.50 to $13.50 per dish, it's a much better value than any meal at Chipotle. You get larger portions, everything is fresh, and you can tell they don’t cut corners. It’s like taking a quick culinary trip to Jamaica, right on South Main Street, directly across from Bricco.

First of all, you can feel the love the moment you walk through the door! The atmosphere in this restaurant is incredibly warm and inviting. The staff is friendly and welcoming as well! The food is absolutely fantastic—truly the best in authentic Jamaican cuisine! I tried the oxtails, and they were flavorful, tender, and juicy, literally falling off the bone! One of the best parts is that the food isn’t overly salty, which I really appreciate. I’m so glad to have found this gem in downtown Akron! I can’t wait to come back for more!

Meet friends here. Offer fresh delicious meat. Very rare super friendly service. Big portions. U can ask for some meat source on rice. You don't want to miss it. Very recommended.

Awesome food, jerk chicken and pork are delicious, all the sides are great, curry goat was okay, first time I've had goat so not sure what I should expect. Was good but in the future I'd probably stick to the jerk pork or chicken. One of my new favorite places to eat when working in downtown.
