Waffle House - Akron

We had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. Upon arrival, we noticed it was the transition between the second and third shifts. Our waitress, Lucky, kindly informed us that they were only offering carryout, which was perfectly fine with us. Both she and the chef were outstanding. Our food was hot when we got home. There was a small mistake with one of the meals, but they offered to remake it; I declined, saying it was fine as it was. Overall, it was an excellent experience, and we will definitely return.

The staff was friendly and welcoming! The food was prepared quickly and accurately! Layla (yes, named after the famous song—great job, Mom and Dad) was particularly friendly and attentive, checking on us several times throughout our meal! It's refreshing to see dedicated and genuine employees during a time when others choose to stay home and not make the effort!

The food was fantastic and the service was excellent. Everything was fresh and delicious. My waitress was really great. I ordered the blueberry waffle, scrambled cheesy eggs, and grits with bacon and sausage.

Was awesome got yummy well done hash browns cooked to perfection. I believe Janice was our waitress. Sorry if got name wrong she was a doll. Loved her. We had to leave dennys cuz of a fire. And ended up here we were satisfied.

Brandy and Layla are incredibly pleasant and friendly. The cooks and management were also welcoming. On the downside, they had to raise prices like many places are doing. The food was fresh and served hot. Our favorite dishes are the all-American and sausage bowls. Overall, I give this restaurant a rating of 5 out of 5!
