Imagine my delight when I found out there was a place I could enjoy all of that?Terrible news for them, my excitement made the expectations a bit higher than walking into most places, and yet I was whisked into an experience that brought all the joy I sought.I enjoyed a golden monkey tea and selected the lite service. I had the sardine sandwhich, and its perfect jammy sauce and texture made me feel delightfully grown and little at the same time. It brought wiggles to my body and worked perfectly with the golden monkey.Chef was extra sweet and included some extra sweets since I came in first it felt special and was exceptionally kind.Every texture and flavor profile was perfectly balanced and despite not living in the area (about 1.5 hours away), I will certainly be back. This had become an instant favorite and my new favorite tea room in the bay.
Amazing place for a tea party and getting together with friends. The services was great as well. Definitely coming back soon!
Had a great visit this afternoon! Our wait person was incredible. Thank you Julia for making our visit special and for moving our table outdoors.Parking: Easy and safe street parking close to tea house.Kid-friendliness: There are usually kids there but you would not notice.
I would call OK baby friendly. It is a small place and we managed to put the car seat on the bench to sit at a 4 person table. Reservation is required. Food is interesting and tastes pretty good. A large tea option.Vegetarian options: There are some vegetarian optionsParking: It can be a little difficult to find parkingKid-friendliness: It has a kid's menu. It is a small place. Could be crowded and a little noisy. My 3months old was OK about the noise but it was a little shocking for him. It was our part about it not the place.
My sister loved their curry chicken sandwich and candy nuggets. I thought their tea choices and turkey Brie sandwich were good. The chicken apple salad delicate flavors were overwhelmed by the dill-which us pretty amazing. And I did not appreciate the sweets. The scone was minuscule and other sweets were foam or marshmallow consistency. The only flavor to the macaroon was sweet. Friendly accommodating service snd on street parking available.
