And she said yes. Lol. We went here for a birthday treat to our friend Quincy. He loves it here and we ordered him fresh oysters and of course, shared what Dorothy and I ordered.
I love a good crab boil restaurant, but whenever we come here, the food is okay, but we still end up paying 200$ for the group. If it were an incredible experience with extra food or more service or something, it might be worth it for special occasions, but as it is today, it's okay food in an okay atmosphere for an astronomical price.
We loved the calamari, it was delicious dripped in coctail or tarter sauce. I also had a whole crab with garlc butter. It was good. If I get the crab again, I will try a different sauce/seasoning. I am going back to try their happy hour. Great staff, very friendly and efficient.
I ordered combo#2 to go. The whole Dungeness crab had no meat in it, almost a empty shell. This was ridiculous! People paying so much money for your food, at least do some quality control making sure they get what they pay for!
Overpriced for the quality of seafood they are surviving. The shrimp despite ordering ones without heads and paying $2 extra, were still not cleaned or deveined. Our crab was still really cold inside aka you could tell it had been frozen. The clams were okay as were the potatoes, corn, and sausage. The two things this place has going for it is the cute decor/ambiance and the seasoning. The house special seasoning was really really good I just wish I had more quality food to dip in it. Also, for the price I feel like some free bread would've been nice. I don't think we will be returning.
