Splendidstreet - Albufeira

Had a lovely breakfast here after seeing it on our first day but it had not yet opened for the season. Walked past on day 2 and it was open. Full cooked breakfast was lovely and washed it down with a pint of beer as well. Lovely owner. We were hoping to go back in the afternoon for a couple of cocktails but unfortunately the heavens opened and we were on the other side of albuferia by that stage so never made it back

Having a walk round came across this bar. Love these kind of small bars owned by locals. Beer Cocktails were both very good excellent value. Nice friendly owner.

Spent the afternoon in Splendid St lovely staff. Great music by Rui any request played Well worth a visit. He's there again on Saturday this week from 3 to 6 pm We will be back .

Lovely little place with good food, fab music and Breakfast for 2.90 euros with English bacon/sausage. This is a place you must visit when in Albufeira. Live afternoon/early evening entertainment from the fabulous singer Rui Pinto, check their Facebook page for days/times. Sunny the owner is a lovely friendly guy who spends time with you

This place is one of our favourite places to visit. The food is superb with the English breakfast the best and tastiest I have ever had anywhere abroad. The drinks are cheap with a pint at €2 for example. The place has only just reopened and it is a great suntrap with a covered terrace if you want some shade and an open area if you want the sun. The place is owned and run by Sonny and what a great, friendly guy he is, he does all the cooking and serving drinks and still finds time to sit down and talk to you. If you want to visit a bar with great food, cheap drinks and one of the best owners around, then give this place a try. We can't wait to visit again the next time we stay in Albufeira.
