We loved this place. BEST hibachi in ABQ. Excellent boss on the grill thanks to Tim! Food was excellent quality excellent price! Come on!

This is a nice restaurant! The ambience is beautiful and the service is always amazing! I have the kissing role because I love salmon and it was incredible! I also tried the beef noodles, scallops and the ultimate crunch roll and everything was amazing! It's expensive, but it's worth it! I hope it will try more soon!

First experience: We have the pirate ship (Shabu Shabu) with seafood. We also have the sushi combination. The hotpot order comes to boil with a fog broth and a bovine broth. It was delicious, fun and easy to do. It comes with pliers and two types of ladies (one with slots) if you want broth or not. The waitress was friendly and informative, she walked us through which foods first cook to have the best timing. 11/2022 edit: I hace reduced our rating for Takumi, although a long-term patron. We love to come here for Date Night and other beautiful nights outside. Today we asked a table for Shabu Shabu and were told they had no available at this time 7pm on a Saturday table. Okay, so we just asked for a sushi table (no need for tabletop grill or hot pot). We said it was waiting for an hour. We waited in the car for a full 60 minutes before we ask for an update. My Bf noticed that they had exceeded our name and phone from the list and served about 10 people after us. We never got a call and they beat us up. It was very frustrating to sit in the cold car, hungry to wait for the call only to realize that it marked us a long time ago. Especially since it was a party of 2 for a non-speciality table that should be easier to accommodate. Managers and cook were friendly and they arranged for a special cooking performance for us with a small discount on our bill. At this point it was unpleasant because all the big tables were served all around and we wanted Sushi first, not Hibachi. I really want to return and have a good experience, but I'm afraid of hostesses, and this experience has left an acidic taste in our mouth. It is not cheap and we work hard for our money, so we expect that we are treated decently and do not forget/ignored. I will say the manager was very attentive by our meal to ensure that we have a beautiful experience after sitting that we appreciate. Make sure you babysit the watch when you decide to eat here.

Had a fun, tasty tapan dinner experience here. Great serving of lobster and scallops for the entree and a delicious sushi roll for an appetizer. Mango beer was great. Used Synergie gift card here. Entertaining and fun cooking

I was excited to eat at this location but they need to get their kitchen managed properly. Waited over an hour for ONE sushi roll. Never received said roll. Watched multiple other patrons get their dishes while I sat and waited, never even heard from my server until I complained to other staff. The food we did receive was cold and incorrect from what I ordered. They didn't fail to charge me for the fried rice I never received. Never offered to comp the meal or even the appetizers. Warned some folks at the door and they left too. Watched them walk out a few minutes later. Had high hopes, but never again.
