There inside of the restaurant was nicely spaced out and the decor was really nice. As for the food which we all know is the important part. I went to try the meatball sub, sadly they were out of that and the brisket. The owner recommended I try his daily special of Chicken Pesto with Loaded Potato Stew. My son got the BLT with chips. Both meals were freshly made an made to look very delicious. We topped it off with some of their mini key lime and banana cream pies. Both were quite good, I can't wait to visit again with hopes I can try the brisket sandwich or meatball sub.
Kept hearing about this place, so we decided to try it today. We went in for take out but it's a cute place to sit and eat, very comfortable. The sandwiches we got were sooooo delicious! I'm so happy they lived up to their reputation. Glad to have a wonderful local place to frequent. We will be back! Each sandwich comes with chips or soup, the soup is homemade and so delicious. We got roasted bell pepper stew today. Yummy!
This is the first restaurant that we finally got to go out and dine-in since our state opened up on June 1st. It was such a cute place we love the atmosphere. We were the only ones dining in though. They were very busy with takeout orders. The staff was very friendly. We love to support businesses in our hometown and this is a family-owned business. They learned their recipes from their grandma. These sandwiches are so unique and so different, but oh, so delicious. The bread was toasted perfectly. My son got the dirty bird sandwich and I got the prime brisket sandwich. He got chips and I got cream of potato soup. We each shared a half of the sandwich so we could try both of them. The turkey on his dirty bird was delicious turkey and the bacon was cooked to perfection. The brisket on my sandwich was a melt-in-your-mouth brisket. All of the sauces on both sandwiches and how they built the sandwiches were made to perfection. The Wisconsin cheese was just as flavorful as it could be and melted perfectly on both sandwiches. The cream of potato soup was good. This sandwich shop is a must-try for all of Rio Rancho residents, visitors, and Albuquerque. We were very pleased and we will definitely go back. Next time, I have to try the breakfast sandwich.
The brisket sandwich was one of the best I 've had, it was unique and delicious! No photos, I ate it too fast! Today I had the Dirty Bird sandwich. It was delicious! The ingredients all blended together perfectly for a scrumptious sandwich that was very satisfying!
Ordered the prime brisket with chips, price was acceptable since it was brisket but I was a little disappointed. Service was good, lady at the front was very nice. Wait time for the sandwich was coming close to 40 minutes on a Thursday around 11 am. Was not particularly busy but not slow either. Wait time could be a lot better for a sandwhich with chips. Sandwhich was decent, not amazing. Brisket was rather dry and if it was not for the bbq sauce it would have not been good. Bread was toasted but by the time I received the sandwhich the toast was not crispy as it should have been. Might have just been an off day for this place but my experience was not as great as others have stated
