Cafe 540 - ALLENBY GARDENS

We held a function here for 30 people and the owner and staff went out of their way to make the evening special. He offered us a wonderful 3 course meal plus coffee for a great price and it even included Atlantic salmon as one of the mains! Began with antipasto and pita bread, two different pasta dishes for mains and choice of steak or salmon with veggies and it was definitely more than enough! A great night was had by all and we thank the staff for their attentive and friendly service.

The food is excellent and well-priced at this restaurant. While the service may not be top-notch, it is still pleasant. The staff is polite and has good PR skills. The coffee, especially made by the Indian barista, is a standout.

The food and service at this restaurant are excellent, and it offers good value. I have visited for tea about 5 times now, and each time it has been extremely quiet. I am surprised by this because the staff are friendly, the prices are good, and they have $10 Schnitzel nights. The food is delicious, including the amazing chicken breast special with mushroom and mustard sauce, garlic prawns, spag marinara, and scotch fillet. All the meals were fantastic, and no one had a complaint. It was a great experience to enjoy one of the best pub meals I have had in such a quiet atmosphere with good ambient music.

We have driven past this place for many years and last weekend we stopped for lunch Glad we did excellent menu very good food. Nice staff and place is very clean. We stopped again this week. Will be again soon as many things on menu that we want to try. So far have had. Salmon, Pork Ribs , Chicken Schnitty , Chilli Prawn Spaghetti , Garlic Bread.

Their full keto menu is brilliant! Can’t find anywhere else like it. My new favourite place. Food is great, lots to choose from. Thank you to the creative chefs for putting this menu together.
