Chickie's Pete's-allentown

The service was terrible. it doesn't have to be said much more. from hostess to check.

After making what we thought was a reservation thru open table, with a confirmed reservation number, we were told when we arrived at the required time that they do not take reservations on an event night. Why in gods name would they take reservations for an event evening on open table ? We could have went anywhere for dinner on our way to the PPL center. We often go out to eat, but will never be at a Chicky/Pete.

So I made this reservation for dinner before a concert. Since we had the reservation is was not worried about getting there early. Chickies and Pete's is supposed to take themselves off open table during special events but someone failed to do that. They would not honor the reservation and there was a 2 hour wait. It was too late to get in somewhere else. Poor customer service.

Horrible. They did not honor our reservation. Where rude about it too.

Apparently our reservations thru open table weren't real. We got to the restaurant and they told us that open table has a glitch and they don't take reservations. They did nothing to accommodate us and weren't even taking names anymore since it was so crowded. Needless to say we left and had a nice dinner at another downtown establishment.
