Allison Snack Shack

This odd little shack serves a variety of burgers, dogs, sausages, fajita tacos, and potatoes. Our family likes the various forms of Texas Taters, as well as the sausage on a stick and the chili on a bun. It is like the fair without the funnel cake.

This was the first place we ate when we got to Alpine...I only came because it had good reviews but let me tell you it's really not that good. I'm sorry I feel bad because The lady was so sweet and it was really clean...but while we were waiting all I could hear was the microwave popping open and closed. And we were the only people there so I know the were warming up our food. Probably explains why it wasnt hot and fresh. Hamburgers were not bad tasting js not hot and fresh! Don't get chili cheese fries all they do is put some nacho flavored taco meat on some chili cheese Fritos and melt a little shredded cheese on it in the microwave! Eeek!

For the first time during another route. had a few of her breakfast and it hit the spot. in any case will be restored.

I had never visited this restaurant before, but I found it to be quite enjoyable.

The burgers and breakfast burritos at this restaurant are top-notch!
