Granitus - Almeida

We came for lunch, the place was full of Portuguese both local as well as tourists. The set menu was formidable and the service was quick and attentive. They do speak Spanish, not sure about English but do not worry. They will take good care of you. The table wine was nice and refreshing and the portions were huge. All for 7.50 Euros a person. No idea how they do it. Super tasty. Highly recommended.

I first visited this restaurant more than 20 years ago and have returned on occasions as I have revisited the wonderful fortress town. It's expanded over the years but the food is still good, the service welcoming and the location excellent. Highly recommended.

Good food. Very well served. Good portions. Quick service. A bit small. Good views and great staff. Loved the place.
