We are from the city and have been looking for an early place, so glad we stopped here! the food tasted not only great, but also the price was great! recommend the cookies and gravy?

If you like house style meals, this is the place for you. You have 4 specials on the menu - Land Fried Steak, Fried Catfish, Meatloaf and Fried Chicken. They are each $10.75 and it comes with 2 vegetables (you choose from a selection of about 10 or so) as well as cookies and baked bread. There is also a Daily Special. In addition, there is a complete menu of other mouth irrigation dishes. Large dessert selection also at home baked Cobbler and pecan pie to name some.... Only open until 2:00, but as soon as they go fill. Exit is also available.

The service and atmosphere were excellent. While the chicken was disappointing, I still ate it and would recommend giving this place a try. My wife enjoyed her meal very much.

In my hometown, the chicken is freshly baked to order, and it takes about 25 minutes to prepare. Here, however, it comes out in just 10 minutes because it’s kept under a warmer. The breakfast is something I would never serve in my home; it would feel like I despised my guests and didn't want them to enjoy their meal. It's disappointing and quite embarrassing. It’s a shame that you’ll have to endure this for years. I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy. You might as well just order and ask for a microwave!

This restaurant exudes old Southern charm. The food is absolutely incredible, showcasing the best of Southern cooking. The staff is exceptionally accommodating, adding to the wonderful experience. The vegetables are fresh and flavorful, and everything is cooked to perfection.
