Had a really great experience last night. It was very busy, service was very quick but efficient. The Reuben sandwich was the best I have had in a long time, yes every restaurant that has one says their's is the best. I will say, try this one. Premium corned beef piled thick. Had a very nice conversation with Danny, the manager, who was circulating on the floor checking with his customer, and checked with me twice. Was very impressed with the atmosphere, food quality and service. Will definitely be returning
Enjoyed a tasty dinner here the week before Christmas. The decor is awesome love the traditional Irish pub ambiance, antiqued ceiling and windows. Service was responsive and friendly and the food and drinks were good but frankly, most you could make at home if you know your way around a kitchen. What was exceptional? The Reuben egg rolls were fantastic and the fish and chips were some of the best I’ve ever had plump and tender, perfectly crispy fried and battered fish. Sandwich prices were on point but the entrees were way overpriced. #Milton, amiright? I’d go back for the fish and chips and those Reuben egg rolls, but just for a special occasion. Until then, I’ll make my shepherds pie and pot roast at home!
I ordered fish and chips, Galway Steak Sandwich, Kildare Salmon BLT , burger and Shepherd’s Pie. Definitely recommend fish and chips! Steak sandwich is also very flavorful and cheese but I recommend change your fries with tater tots. I would not recommend burger because it was very dry. The server was nice but it took kind of long time to have our food even though it was not busy hour. The restaurant is located in the middle of Milton city hall so you can walk around and enjoyed the nice weather.
Good place for a pint. Pot roast was tasty, as was the blackened chicken. French onion soup was great, but wouldn't recommend the clam chowder.
